Faint line - 120 days would be an extraordinarily long time for marijuana to be detected in your urine. Something like 30-45 days would be unsurprising considered you smoked daily for 30 years, but 120 days...that just doesn't sound right.

Still, THC is fat soluble, so it builds up in your fat and if you smoke everyday it builds up faster than you can release it. That's why marijuana detection times vary so much. Think of it like caloric intake - if I typically burn per day say 1700 calories, and I'm putting 2400 calories in my body per day, it's going to take longer to burn those calories. I hope that makes sense...

Check the cut-off levels of your drug test. If you are passing it, and the cut-off level of the test is 50 nanograms/ML - that is the cutoff level suggested by the federal government. If you are passing at that level you are probably going to be OK. One warning, I know sometimes parole officers more severe cutoff levels but I don't know if that is something you need to worry about.

Daily smoker for over 30 years before that but I am still getting a faint line. Here is a photo of my fist void of the day. Later voids look better after I've been drinking water. I drink about 8 glasses of water a day. I have a test coming up soon and am not sure if I'll pass. any advice? Rating: 5
