hi all
Ive been growing off of 2/250 watt White fluorescents & 1/25 watt Grow Light also a fluorescent, with no problems.
If that is all you have I would start vegging the plants with just the 2/fluorescents then after about 4-6 weeks when the plant is near 8-12 inches tall, I would throw in the Flood Light for Flowering.
Budding needs lots of Light!

hi all
Couldn't really say, it could be a Halogen.
Is the light white or is it yellow?

hi all
it prob is.
David - just be careful with heat. try your best to get some cfl's to grow.
the 2700 K ones, that look kind of red are good for flowering and the blue ones good for veg. they have a higher K the full daylight spectrum ones.
(using both in flower would be a great idea) the 150 watt one's.
they are 20$ or under.
the 2 fluorescents will be great for clones. (I would throw those in the flower room to)
the flood light will work but I assume it will be quite hot.

hi all
Since there only 20 watt I would put as many as you can fit inside of the grow box.
Keep them close to the plants as well, no more then 3 inches above (CFLS & tube fluorescents only) for the flood light I would place it a foot above.
Do as demoreal mentions when flowering & add the flood to the cfls. The more light in this stage the better
Make sure you have a fan to circulate air & exhaust excess heat. A 12v computer fan works fine, but if you have something more powerful use it.
Air flow & temperature (between 65-75ΒΊ F is best) are key players in growth development same as light schedule... which I learned the hard way. -->Possible Hermie<--
