I found this site and started reading everything I could find when my seeds popped. I wanted to know exactly what conditions would optimize my first grow. Then every day I read every new post hunting for anything I hadn't already read. Then I re-read everything in other threads and books. If I found ANY issue at any time I hunted down the answer and corrected the issue, OR posted a thread about it.

I'm proof that this site can help a noob grow like a pro!

Now on those lights.

Like I told you before I used mostly CFLs(which is what your using). Although I used 23W and 27w with a total of 333w (or 1100w equivalent). Putting out 17900 lumens.

It looks like the bulbs you are using are only 11w each. With twelve of them your total wattage is 132w, (or 600w equivalent). Although the PAR chart on them looks great. The amount of light is VERY WEAK!

Just like with my CFLs they loose in the intensity area. Thus to be effective your lighting needs to be within a couple inches of the leaves to avoid stretch and keep the lumens where you want them.

I keep mine about 2 inches above the top leaves. Plus I have about double your output.

BACK TO THAT SOIL, WHAT IS THAT!!:wtf:
Vancefish Reviewed by Vancefish on . Is this grow correct for time This is my first time growing, and my plants seem small. I have a 70 F watt * 12 lighting system with two hun kush in begging stages of growth! The left one is about a month old and the second is about 3 weeks. I put in the new lighting about 3 weeks ago when I learned that I needed more light. I had a 80 watt F and the stems grew really long and just stop growing. Restarted about 4 weeks and this is what I have now! The one on the left has many leafs but very small, nothing like what I see on Rating: 5
