Hi everyone!!
I've been growing MM for a co-op here in Los Angeles for 2 years, hydroponics mostly but am well versed in both. Recently, I decided to quit said co-op primarily over disagreement over the way it was managed.
In any case, after quitting the co-op I found myself with 2 years of tremendously valuable experience that I still haven't been able to put back to use. With legalization in the November ballot, its only a matter of time when there are more people who want to start a MM grow of their own that actually have the knowledge and time to do so, and they will be looking for people with the skills, knowledge and availability to help them out.
Problem is right now the only openly and consistently sought out MM related occupation I can find online is for female dispensary receptionists. Seriously. There is a huge MM talent vacuum. A skilled grower such as myself has no concrete path to being matched with a person in need of said skills.
Is this because of all the supposed gray areas in the current laws? as in, do people think it's not a good idea to advertise for help because it could get them if trouble? Is it just the nature of what we do that makes people wary of finding help online? Do people even consider looking/finding help online at all?
Would love to hear some thoughts on this and if anyone knows of a good way for me to find people who need helps growing MM I would love the help, otherwise I'm going to take it upon myself to make an online home for people looking to work/hire in the california MM industry.

Problem is every pothead thinks he is a master grower. There are no credentials to go with said experience. Right now I have 10 years and a bust under my belt.
There is a need for what you say but many things need to change. There is still a stigma about the whole med thing. You know just some old hippie's getting thier way till they die kind of thing.
Hope you find what your looking for but watch out. There are a million that will walk over you to get it.

Perhaps you experienced growers might put together a course of study. Then start something like a Marijuana Cultivation Certificate Program.
All of this legal MMJ is relatively new. The door is wide open for them with imagination. :hippy:

In 2005 CPG use to have monthly grow classes
. They were very helpful and usually had about 30 attendees. CPG has since closed its doors and I haven't seen any other collective offering these classes. Sure do miss them
.

Hello everybody!!
I just found this forum website for MM because i just got my card. I actually joined because i am interested in growing MM to treat the migraines i get. It sucks when your head hurts like crazy shiz 2 or 3 times a week. Id imagine that hell is like having a migraine for an eternity. Im a biochemistry student that has almost finished my degree and just hates to feel pain all the time, so help me learn how to grow!!
In response to your post, there is a little hesitance towards finding help online. Ya never know if its some douche ass law enforcement official posing and trying to bust someone because he thinks hes doing the right thing. Id love to go online and find some help but those asses ruin the fun of collectively helping each other.
I have plenty of questions about growing a few plants at home hydroponically. Ive scanned the internet for hours and read kind of alot of stuff. But its always good to get more info. Such as flowering times for specific strains like bubba kush clones, more imput on things to look for before harvesting, and best advice for drying. If youre bored or have time to respond about anything let me know.

I understand and agree.
I have years of experience growing plants and have grown mj whenever I could. (I have a small grow tent in br now.) I've worked for interior landscapers, (they do inside gardens like in lobbies) and exterior landscapers.
AND I would absolutely love to have a grow co-op or work for one.
I don't want to get rich, I just want to be able to do something that I do well, it be a benefit to others and earn a living. I'm open to residence trade for work.
But there's nothing to be found on the internet & nothing via the med.mj dispensaries, papers, magazines.
And I'm SURE, if there ever is such a thing, that one would have to be very, very careful to not get ripped off.
