The only thing I would recommend regarding the time of day would be to avoid using your lights during peak consumption, incorporate having your lights off between the hours of 5pm to 7pm. That will save you some cash.

This does not mean to have your lights out for only 2 hours. Use the recommended photo periods, 12/12, 18/6, & 24/0. Messing around with your photo period will cause your plants stress!!:hippy:
pappabear Reviewed by pappabear on . smart idea??? or very dumb??? so if you did a 20-8 schedule so its never recurring to the electric company , would this affect growth in any way? i think itd be great, you could just put a timer for 20-4 into a timer thats on 20-4. so it would shut the timer off for 4 hours every day to make it lag into a 20-8 (get me?) any tips/ suggestions would be appreciated.....
