My personal story why the government needs to legalize marijuana
I am so sick of everything! Why the hell is weed not legal yet. Yes, it is time for another rant! Sorry to bitch all the time, but the government is missing a huge chance to make a TON of money off of taxing weed. I personally live in a state where there is no medical marijuana or legalized marijuana (duh) and I think it is insane. Think about it. We are not talking about legalizing crack or meth. We are talking about legalizing a plant that has been growing from the earth for as long as we've been around. Even the president of the United States has admitted to smoking weed, and enjoying it. So, is marijuana the gateway "drug"? HELL NO! Alcohol is.
Allow me to tell you a quick story to justify this. I remember I used to drink heavily. Every damn day. I lived in these apartments and I got a new neighbor. I seen him moving in, and I asked if he needed help. he said it was okay to help him and we started a conversation with one another. I asked him if he drank and he said that he did. So, I offered to split a 12 pack with him. He agreed so I went out and bought us one.
We started drinking and I was throwing them down a lot faster than he was. So, obviously I was drunk pretty quick (Milwakee's Best Ice) anyways he had a "friend" that stopped by his house and drop off what he told me was "weed", so he went to the bathroom and he stayed in there for quiet sometime. I wanted to smoke a little weed so I went in there because (a) I had to piss. (b) I wanted to smoke with him.
I got in there and found him in there cutting lines (cocaine). I was drunk if you remember so I asked him what he was doing. He came straight with me, and told me what it was. I walked on into the bathroom to take care of my bladder and when done I asked him to cut me a line. Now this is something I would have NEVER done if I wasn't drunk. Thankfully he said that he didn't have enough to cut me any so i shrugged it off and walked back into the living room and finished my beer, and left.
I thank God to this day I didn't do that. This is proof though that the plant that we call "Marijuana" is completely misjudged by the government. If they legalize it it will eliminate the possibilities of your dealer putting something in your weed that you do not want in it. Not counting all the profit the government would make. Anyways tell me what you think.pentigram Reviewed by pentigram on . My personal story why the government needs to legalize marijuana I am so sick of everything! Why the hell is weed not legal yet. My personal story why the government needs to legalize marijuana
I agree whole heartedly.
In the industry I work in, the aircraft industry, they do random drug tests all the time. Federal regulations require them to test 25% of all employees each year. I have known people who work on aircraft, who also use cocaine. Why do they use cocaine? It comes out of the system in as little as 3 days. They can use cocaine on Friday night and be almost clear by Monday. On the other hand if they did the drug the really want to do, marijuana, they would have to wait a much longer time to be clear.
I'm sure this behavior is not limited to the aircraft industry.
I don't know about you, but I would rather see someone smoke a joint than snort coke. :hippy:

I agree with you. I hate cocaine and all them hard drugs. I love weed. In fact I preach it to everyone I know. Almost as if it were a religion. Cocaine does leave the body much faster, but all at the same time you can overdose on Coke, but not weed. Well, technically it is possible, but all at the same time impossible (does that make sense?). I've never done coke, or any other drugs (other than tobacco) but I know that I would never wanna do any of them. to me marijuana is not a drug and they need to leave cannabis alone, and the people that use it. Take you for instance (Pepurr) I take it you are a pot user. Yet, you are in such an important position. That shows within itself the "drug" marijuana doesn't effect you in a "lazy" or "harmful" way.

When I get well, I will return to aircraft work, and will also discontinue regular marijuana use.
I thought this point should be brought up just to keep things in perspective. :hippy:
