I have never grown outdoors and want to give it a try this season. I was planning on building planter boxes in my back yard. The dimensions I have proposed are 4'x8'x16". I was planning on building 2 boxes. My questions are whether boxes (with multiple plants in each) are the best container for outdoor growing? If so How should I space the plants?
