I do not know of any apartments that have announced they are medical marijuana friendly but I did recently see an ad on Craig's list for a small 2 bedroom house where the landlord states he is MMJ friendly and had no problem with a small personal grow in the house.

I think the key is discretion. Many apartments have thin walls so sounds and smells will travel. I would not consider growing in an apartment because of how easy it would be for the smell to travel and I would be more inclined to use a vaporizer in that circumstance.

At this point I would not be eager to share MMJ status with a landlord. I am sure there are many out there that do not care as long as you pay the rent, but since there is still a hysteria surrounding MMJ I would keep it on the down low. Maybe after getting to know your landlord, showing you are a good tenant, paying the rent on time and keeping then place up, then I MIGHT speak of MMJ.

Good luck and keep us posted how it goes.
Reenster Reviewed by Reenster on . Can you use meds in a APT in Denver? I'm about to move to Denver and was wondering if anyone knew of any apartment complexes that allow you to use your meds in their dwelling. I don't know much about Denver, so if most people don't really care about the smell then I'll just do it anyway. Please PM me with the apartment names instead of putting them out on the board, thanks. Rating: 5
