Halp please!
Unless you have a strain that lives out in the cold climate then you can get mites. So, If your plant is alive you have good conditions for mites. I'm in Colorado, we had a week of 20F just over a month ago. That is when I got mine(mites that is).

I suggest you do a search for spider mites. There are about 30 threads in just the last couple months.
