    Yep to early. There are many pics that show the two white hairs screaming female. Boys grow balls.

    There not New Growth, I just went through this myself. Nothing grows between the petiole & the new branch except the sex organs.

    When a plant becomes 4-6 weeks old it will begin to preflower regardless of lighting cycle, which is what you are seeing.

    At this stage its hard to tell exactly what sex you have.

    I am still waiting to flower myself, its been 2 weeks today & still no assurance of sex.

    Most likely if you don't see a hair grow by the time the little growth gets the size of a match head its most likely a male.

    If this is your only plant I would let it grow if its a male. I have been researching male hermies & have found some strong evidence.

    Most growers throw out there males which is why reports on male hermies are rare. I wouldn't suggest breeding a male hermie though you will get 25% XY(Female), 25% YY(Unusable) & 50% XX(Male)
