I just shot off an email to Governor Richardson about this issue. I hope some other people have the same idea.

Good article. It does explain Dr. Vigils point of view well. As well as the problems that patients are experiencing. This is a political problem that needs us all to be very political in how we handle our approach to getting progress. No one will give us what we want if we don't act accordingly. We all want the same thing. Safe access and safe meds and no hassel. The sterotypes need to end. The best way to do that is going to be slow and organized. Thanks for a great article. Things are moving in the right direction. That's a big step over 10 years ago.

    JM,

Thanks for putting this up on the forum here! I was wondering, since there appears to be no agenda as of yet for the meeting, will they only allow the patients that sent off packages to the state by the 9th deadline? Do you think that they would open the floor to others?

I have a specialist appointment that morning (pain to get those) but will see if there is a way I could possibly reschedule it to late in the day or something close.

I have been told march 9 was the deadline. No exceptions. Board members need time to review packets. My source was a board member.
