State of California ID needed?

Been out here for about 8 months but haven't gotten a Cali driver's license or I.D. card. Do I need one to go along with the actual medical card to buy from a shop? I was told proof of residence would work (i.e. signed lease, bills, etc.)

You have to show your state of California id card when you pick up buds from a shop.

In order to obtain an actual state-recognized medical card, you must have a California state identification. Legit doctors will not issue you a recommendation to obtain a CA MMJ card without a California ID and proof of residence.

The replies that you have recieved are correct; to be issued a MMJ in California a California ID or DL is needed. Atleast your first time applying to a dispensary you will need that verification as well, once you have gone enough times and built some rep you can even get some friends in....but I don't know what im talking about.

California ID is not expensive or difficult to get. Go to the DMV and take I think $12.
