I know that this is a long shot but does anyone have any tips on sexing a plant without flowering, and is it ok to flower a plant for a week so you can sex it and then return to veg so you can mother that same plant

The cannabis plant will show pre-flowers after 4 weeks of vegatative growth. You can also take a cutting from the plant, then flower the cutting. The sex of the cutting and the plant it was taken from will be the same. Do not expose your plant to irregular light cycles by going back and forth from veg to flower to veg. I suggest you do some reading, Jorge Cervantes has a great site called marijuanagrowing.com.

I don't know for sure if it is just a fluke, or I really am on to something with this theory:

In the last 5 years using this method I have not been wrong one time.....all preflower/show identification. Unfortunately, I am getting so good at making them go female, I rarely see a male. I just follow the other suggestions for female trait growth like high N and whatnot.

People post pictures and if they are not extremely well detailed it is not possible to identify for sure.
