    tuning off ventilation at night??

Summer is coming up and to avoid even higher ac costs i was wondering if its ok to turn off the vent fan at night while leaving the circulation fan on? Does anyone have any thoughts on this? thanks for your input

Have you an intake that pulls from outside and and mixes with your ac air. You should be able to keep temps at bay,at or around 82 degrees.Without exhausting all your ac air.

    Ga..

    tuning off ventilation at night??

right now air is sucked through the cabinet and exhausted into the attic. i have tried exhausting it back into the ac venting but it gets to hot in the rooms. i dont think humidity will be a problem as i live in the desert and its really dry here most of the summer, except through our rainy season. i figured what i could do is have it come on a few times during the day (night cycle in the cabinet) just to exhaust and refresh the air instead of running it all 12 hours of dark time. thanks for your input just seeing if anyone else had tried this.

I live in Pacific NW, I turn off all fans in darkness.....after the heat has been removed.

I think temperatures will give you your answer.
