This tincture is burning my mouth. What's it going to do to me?

I just bought a hybrid tincture that is not a definitive strain or anything. It was made from the co-ops leftover stems and trim and leaf etc. Just everything that falls to the bottom when they pre-bag.

Anyway, she said that it was very strong and that i need very little. i put less than one drop on my tongue and it burnt worse than a shot of vodka granted that i used to drink a lot, but now i don't due to my meds and health situation.

Now, i did take another drop and just had a chaser ready, how pathetic. But what should i expect? Will this help my pain more effectively? I have not been able to properly manage my pain with my cannabis at all. I am looking for antyhing that lasts the longest.

It was most likely made with everclear or Bacardi 151. This will burn the crap out or the bottom of your tongue. The reason they use such a strong alcohol is it breaks down the trichomes and cannabinoids much faster and more efficiently then lower grains do.

I would suggest you ask for a honey based trencher or..... make what I call a cloverbud.

1. Shot of COLD St. Brendans or Baily's Irish cream
2. put in about 2 or 3 squirts from an med size eyedropper
3. Make an appropriate toast, and enjoy.

It is also great in tea, or any cream based drink....

Yes! They did say it is everyclear, but i had no idea what that meant! lol. i have not used tincture before.

the drop or two i took earlier did nothing. am i not taking enough?

I have mixed in a little OJ & Honey in my tinctures made with Everclear to lessen the burn. Usually two or three dropper fulls to get any benefit.

Without the OJ and Honey, would you know how many drops to use?

Well you could evap some of the alcohol out of it

just boils some water

take it off the heat

then take your tincure container and place it with the lid off into the hot water

the alcohol will evap off

or you could do this
