hi im new here my names danny im about to start growing a few plants was wondering what to do with the lighting dont no wether to get a 150w hps or 2 125w cfl's what would be sufficent for a 3 meter sqaure grow room cfl of hps any advice would be appriceated

i would use a hps. But 150 watts wont cover 3m. you mean meters i assume. i used 150hps in a 2x2x3 feet area and it worked well.hps will pump out more lumens. Then cfls.you can mix them. if your area is bigger look into 400,600,or 1000 watter there are also led lights as well. Dont be afraid to mix spectrums

Can you only afford a 150w or 2 x 125w? I'd say get all three if you can. Might be able to get away with some good computer fans for ventilation.

But if you have enough money for the light and proper ventilation, get at least a 400w hps + cooltube, about â?¬80 from http://pflanzburg.de/ and you'll be happy with that.

sorry new to all this i ment 3 sq feet and im on a budget can only afford 1 or the other first time grow n all a few off my friends have said i would be better off with a hps but was just looking for advice frum some more experienced peeps

It's pretty good... as long as the ballast comes with it also.
