Is there a market for nice glassware?
I am trying to find out if now there is a demand for really nice quality borosilicate heavy glass in small peanuts, spoons, one hitters, mini and full sized bubblers, etc. In Colorado. Fumed, inside out, good stuff. I have a good source and could offer super prices to vendors like dispensaries. I think there are too many pipe only shops selling stuff huge markup. I don't need to do that, everyone gets a good deal including end customer at the dispensary. Just don't wanna jump in and get stuck with a ton of inventory. These guys are a small group of craftsmen glassblowers. Their pipes are quality, they're good people, I'd like to be able to place some orders with 'em. Thanks for any feedback, and if ya want to chat we can talk by phone. Also any legal hangup I may not have thought of, storefront required?, can I just advertise on Craigslist?, because it seems like everything else is ok now.
By the way that's supposed to read TheHighCountryMeds, but the space only allowed for M. Gotta get a new moniker.TheHighCountryM Reviewed by TheHighCountryM on . Is there a market for nice glassware? I don't know how much demand for them there is but all I smoke out of is heavy glass. I would think with all of the tobacco and pipe shops out there you should be able to find someone with a store willing to carry them.
Just be careful if you ship out of State and remember they are tobacco pipes.
Good Luck!

I'd guess demand is up to the seller here. If you can make things you don't see everywhere, some store will buy it. However there are a ton of shops selling this stuff. In Boulder, even a few gas stations carry glass pipes.

Thanks, and no I wouldn't be marketing to out of state until they are MMJ states, probably not really even then. This'd be a side thing, and I noticed dispensaries carrying glass. I could just get them some light bulk orders, for good price & they'd still make a good markup in the display case. I just get them in a box & take 'em to vendors (dispensaries). Since customers don't get to see the pipes unless they are registered cardholders, no legal issue there. I think.
