Questions about molasses

I would recommend you stay away from the molasses and stick with your nutrients. My friend tried the molasses method and it killed his plants hard!

He (or you) used it wrong then.

I personally have used powdered sugar while flushing....it adds a little sweetness.

Now there's a new twist to an old fable. Unless you sprinkle it on the buds themselves, doubtful the sugar is helping at all.

Molasses isn't used so much as a flush, as it is a nute supplement that is high in carbs(thus increasing bud growth).

I guess my question could switch to,.. Does anyone know if the BC nute package accounts for this already? Or do people use it in addition to the regular nutes?

I use Fox Farms nutes, and start the molasses about 4 weeks before harvest, along-side the FF. Not sure of the BC. Use molasses with care, as too much magnesium can lock-out other nutrients. I'm using 1 tsp per gallon of properly ph'd water, once a week.
Get it right, molasses pays off. Use it wrong (overdosing) you can kill the ladies.

I've read MANY mentions of molasses in many grow logs, and one REALLY long copy/paste post.
