    help

so i broke my wrist 4 years ago when i was 16 years old and it has been causing me a good deal of pain since. I tried taking painkillers with my surgery and it made me sick to my stomach. I just learned about the possibility of medical marijuana for my wrist but all of the sites I have looked at say that you need to have tried other solutions in the past 3 years as well as doctors notes about your illness. I have just been dealing with the pain and have not gone to see a doctor about it since, but i cant do it anymore. so my question is am i really required to try pills again or will i be able to get my mmj card without having seen a doctor for this in the past 3 years???? thanks in advance for any advice.

Generally yes you're going to need a recent history of lain mangement thats not working. But there are some places a little more lenient than others. So about all you can do is talk to some of them and see what they say. It should be getting easier for people like you to get approval once the new law goes into effect in july. It will open up who gets to write the authorizations to medical professionals other than MD's
