    Droopy yellowish leaves.

So I have 5 plants that are all droopy and the bottom leaves seem to be turning yellow. i was using Shultz 10-15-10 but I stopped using it when I noticed some burns.

    Your Equipment:

.2) Distance from tops? About 10 inches

.4) Is there a consistent fresh air supply? Yes
.5) Do you have an exhaust fan and a circulation fan? fan yes, exhaust fan no, but I cut off exhaust vents.
.6) What are the bulb wattages, kelvin ratings, and schedule? (10) 100W Equi. CFLs @ 5000k 1750 lumens ea. 18/6
    Your medium:
.7) Specific brand and type of soil? Scotts potting soil with 30% perlite.

    Your nutrients and water:
    10) Source of water? mixture of 70% tap 30% filtered. i let it sit under the light for about 24hrs

What's it's ph before adjusting? I dont know

    Your growroom:
    19) Indoors or outdoors? indoor
    20) What size of closet, room or hut? 2x3x4 cardboard box. painted the inside flat white.

    21) What are the temps and humidity levels while lights are on?I'd say 85 degrees

I only see one droopy plant, the big one... or is this just starting to show on the smaller ones?

Have you checked to see if it's rootbound or ready for a transplant? It looks overwatered, but this can also be of symptom of rootbound...

The CFL's your using are 23w, correct? 10in. is a bit too far away, try to get them closer, about 1-3 inches. **Just take note**, if you are having problems then don't do this, wait until it/they recover and then lower the lights.

hey, thanks for your help! yes, they're 23w.
and yeah it started to show on the other plants. I have recently checked and it is not rootbound.. and I dont think its overwatered because I have never watered to the point where its drained from the bottom.. I watered every 2 days and maybe a couple of oz.

The reason I have them 10 inches is because I thought it was getting to hot in there.. so I put the lights around the same height my fan is.

How recently? Roots grow very fast under the right conditions...

Overwatering is not concerned with amount of water as much as the frequency.

Except for when you plant/transplant a small root system into a large container, you should be watering so that the soil is evenly saturated throughout. A little run-off is a good indicator of proper watering.

Always let the soil then dry out before watering again. By consistently keeping the soil/roots wet, you deprive the roots of oxygen. By not soaking the entire soil, roots that stretch out to find water will eventually dry out and die.

Any way to move the fan instead of the lights? Or set it up that the fan is blowing across the tops of the plants and lights? Unless you see heat stress, keep those lights closer. If those lights are more than 3 inches away from the plant, they are not very effective for growth. Maybe you can take a couple out until you can figure a way to keeps the temps in control (under 85F).

they look over watered to me too. my plants usually have the ability to grow much larger than the ones in those pots, in a pot like that. I guess that could vary with strain though. anyway my guess is over watered as well.

Just give it a couple days, they should perk up. Don't water until they dry out. Check the weights of the pots, you can feel the difference between nearly dry and still wet.

Look at the new growth also, that's more important than old leaves.
