I use an HPS. Works every time. Rock hard buds without additional chemicals.

But if what you want is bulkier buds, the only bulking product I use, is molasses. It contains calcium, magnesium, iron and valuable carbs. (carbo-loading) There are bulking agents out there, but they are a just weak solution of molasses, or a synthetic molasses. Beware of marketing hype.

Earth Juice Microblast is mainly a magnesium sulfate product. DO NOT OVERUSE. Overdosing on mag. sulfate will lock-out the other nutrients, and overdosing on micro's and metals is another consideration. Looks like shitloads of sulfates in the Microblast, too. I've never used the Microblast but looking at the ingredients, it's not something I'd buy unless experienced mmembers say they have a problem with the Earth Juice micronutes. (or it's lack thereof)

Likely, the Microblast is as useful as Superthrive. I quit using that crap a couple of years ago, but I do use Fox Farms which has the micro's in it already.
