High in NYC and looking for things to do

I'm in NYC, have a friend visiting this week and am planning on toking up a bunch this week. Any ideas on what we should do? We're going to see Alice in Wonderland in imax 3d this week and probably go to the Tim Burton exhibit at the MoMa, but I figured theres got to be other stuff to do.

Easy: go on adventures. I did that when I was visiting my sister in Ottawa.. I'd wake up, roll a bunch of joints, smoke one, eat a good breakfast and peace. I walked around the city for a week and didn't get bored. If you go explore places like museums you're bound to run into someone who will tell you about a show or concert, or see a sign somewhere. Every day becomes an adventure. And maybe you'll meet someone who takes you to a concert and you get to go backstage and the band takes you on the road and you become famous. You never know man, so just remember to always have your towel with you.

And if all else fails you can always get stoned and people watch. There's all kinds of crazy characters in the big city. I like to make up stories about them, wonder where they're going, what they're thinking.. it's trippy.

sounds like a good start.. if ya guys like art might be worth it to walk around SoHo a bit, then find some nightlife, got a club/bar for anything and everything in nyc.. If ya guys legal.. might wana stop by Shade bar on Sullivan and W3rd, you can get blazed, eat some fresh hot crepes from the crepe spot it is connected too and have a brew 2.. fuck just get blazed and go eat crepes, they are fucking delicious.. mmmm, hungry, I hate you..

I live on high floor on a highrise, and I have a balcony. Best, I even have a legit hookah from a hookah bar! I don't really want to dish out money for something I have in my apartment.

I think I'll start with an adventure! Great recommendation! Just smoke up and walk around, maybe make some special brownies too.

if ya living in nyc then you know bout the police, just be safe, be smart when smoking on the streets or parks, u kno.. washington sq construction is done for the most part so the area by the fountain open again, nice warm weather we having, sure there is loads of people chillen out in the park and some performers probably be out there soon, especially on the weekend. Greenwich Villiage always a good spot to start off an adventure (DO NOT BUY WEED THERE! or central lock up for 24 hours will be part of the adventure, 6th precinct is nasty with the undercover squads) I've had nights where it started off like 2 of us and turned into like 30 people all chillen together in the Washington sq buggn out, good times.

also again about the art, jsut since you mentioned the MoMa, might want to pick up the newest issue of Gallery Guide (might be able to get it at the moMa) it has listings of loads of Gallery shows around the world, the majority being in NYC and the boroughs of course
