WE'RE here! WE grow! We're always stoned, ya know! -- And we tend to brag less and are way more cautious. I didn't even post here until I got my medical rec. (I'm in Cali). All to many of us have kids at home and have learned to keep a low profile for their sake. My baby is 28, so I don't have to freak about CPS, but many women do. There are real reasons why fewer women post on these boards. The % of male to female growers on this board, may not be an accurate representation of the actual % of women who grow. By the way- aside from helping move the lights, or handing me some seedlings, my hubby stays out of the grow closet! Black thumb! lol- Granny :stoned:

I would love to meet this woman!! Do you have grandkids? My brother has a baby now so my mom is a new grandmother. My mom would NEVER grow! I think in the 70's she was a pretty big toker though.

Why thank you! And I wouldn't bet on your Mom not growing (unless she has a "black thumb" like my hubby). I am willing to be that if she did toke way back when, it will take 6 months after legalization for her to take a puff. With pot being good for so many illnesses- cancer, alzheimer's, osteoporosis, monthly cramps, aches and pains, etc- it would just be a matter of time before she was growing her own meds. But until we get it legal, your Mom will stay straight.

Oh and no grand kids yet- so you guys get to fill in. lol My brilliant sons seem to be retarded when it comes to women. I got a shy, bearded, computer genius and a long-haired unemployed slacker who plays video games all night (he also cooks a fantastic gourmet dinner 3 nights a week and bakes home-made bread). Both are absolutely straight. Both love, but disapprove of their hippie momma. We all live together- makes sense financially and we are all friends. I love them, straight as they are! lol

It's been my experience that women are much better growers. They seem to be able to give them more love.

I love growing. Its theraputic. Plus it also gives me something to talk about with my husband - a hobby we both share and enjoy. I do all the growing & careing and he takes care of the drying, curing, and smoking process. They are like our second set of kids.
