Please comment on my first grow...Romulan

Hermie found! After switching around my grow room a bit i was down lower than normal and noticed some balls.... cry cry cry.

I guess luckily, the only variations since flowering my room has had since start was in like last day or two, so i think this one was genetically hermie earlier on... It was also the last plant to show it's sex if my memory serves.

So down from 4 plants to 3, and gonna hang the hermie for drying and see what happens... unless you guys think otherwise. I don't have enough room or time for a seperate grow space to keep it going for seeds.



ps. checking the others intensely and they all seem to remain female

I think the other 3 would love the extra light... Make some brownies with the herm

I ended up finding three pollen sacs over the entire plant... i squeezed one yesterday right after i killed the plant, and didn't notice any pollen on my fingers. But after drying the plant overnight for whatever use, i squeezed the other 2 i found and noticed definite pollen.

Not sure if that lowers the odds enough that my other plants didn't catch pollen, but i'm hoping. Freakin had a fan blowing recently of course.

ps. I finally got myself some timers, ...2 heavy duty outdoor ones controlling 2 power strips with my cfls... I know that power strips on those might not be a great idea, but no problems so far. Calibrating them day before i was going to be gone at 'switch' time was tricky, ..ended up getting them on schedule 10 mins before my normal light switch time.

looks good for a cfl grow. Its hard growing with little light. much better than my first grow. If it were me i might try to lower all the lights to where they are kinda like on the top sides of plants. instead of over them. i think. umm. does that make sense. you know like all lights on the sides. I think it would make more efficient use of cfl's.

Yeah i was thinking about running the 3 plants the length of the table in a line, and having the lights on sides. Gonna take a bit of work and i'm too tired tonight

Made a small change to grow room to help get a little more light under plants.
