Space to Cultivate...?

How much space would you need to cultivate the state limit of 95 plants, while having rotating harvest, and with some wiggle room for playing around with strains?

P.S. I am somewhat of a new-bee...

I come up with about 900 to 1000 square feet based on a 3X3 area for each plant. If you are just getting started feel free to contact me for any advice or ideas.

If you go sea of green (SOG) you can keep your space way down while still having a continuous harvest and wiggle room. You could get away with that many in 150-200 sq feet (15x10+ room, divided into 2 spaces) for a zero veg time SOG and a few mothers. That many plants take a lot of work, especially while you're still learning, and cloning/caring for mother plants can be tricky at first so good luck!

I prefer screen of green to sog,but it is best to go with what you know or can easily learn.
