Brainy Reviewed by Brainy on . Can anyone diagnose this? This little girl (Midnight Purple) has got some funky brown spots growing on a fan leaf, not sure what it could be. Only thing other than water I have given to her was a very small amount of liquid miracle grow mixed with water. I currently have a 150 Watt halogen about 11 inches from the plant. The other issue that I am having is the top leaves are beginning to curl inwards, is this because the light is too close and a result of heat stress? And yes, I know the tin foil is a bad idea...
