Cannibus convention
7-10 days drying time? Wow that's a lot. It's usually just 3-4 for me, sometimes 5 but here in CO - I haven't been pass that. Well now that I think about it, there have been times I've jarred them only to have to take them out for about another day so I guess I've gotten close to 7. Definitely smart to have a humidifier nearby. Others places I've had both humidifier & dehumidifier, haven't found a dehumidifier necessary here as long as I have a slight breeze blowing. But I'm along the front range where's it very arid, other parts of CO might be more humid.
I also like to keep my drying room between 65-75%, preferably just above 70%. For me, any lower and one runs the risk of overdrying, which here in Colorado is soo easy to do! That's why most dispensary goods just turn to dust when you touch them. That and they keep each strain in one large jar that they keep burping over & over again everytime someone asks to take a look. I much prefer the places that keep a small sample jar for inspection then if I buy - they take from the large jar. Since not the best, but better then 100 burps or more a day! I only know of one place that prepackagings their goods. In reality thats the best way as then it doesn't get dried out, but one has to really either trust the place or as soon as you get, weigh it there in front of them.
