Been doing it for years with no evidence of this bullshit about hermies EVER. Those breeders or seed salesmen that wish to convince you of their magical femming techniques, are likely afraid us ordinary growers will think we can do it too. (which they can with proper information, experience and the right growroom situation) You can cite all the articles you want, and fill your head with all sorts of doubts and misinformation. But I wouldn't make these claims were they not repeatable by anyone with the willingness (and skills) to give it a try.

By your post, you seem to have it in your head that only a hermaphrodite can pump out the pollen, so I'm guessing you think all cannabis ladies are hermaphrodites...? (False) Read my lips...EVERY STRAIN I HAVE WORKED WITH CAN BE FORCED. Period.
It's not a sign that a plant is a hermaphrodite. It means they have the ability to be forced. A hermaphrodite expresses both sexes at the same time, without any stressing by the gardener., It is genetically damaged. One that is of good stock, and stressed into the process, can be reverted back to normalcy through re-veg.

If one damages the genes in the process, or starts with a weak strain to begin with...then yes, the genetics can be degraded.
