Time to flower?
Looks good to me fella. Go for your life. You can keep these plants in a veg state for up to 12 years. How big do you want to get them before flowering ?
They look very good. looking forward to seeing your buds:bigsmoke:

Time to flower?
really depends on how big you want them and the size of your grow space. They look good and healthy! I top my indoor grow at 12-16" and start the flower cycle....but you can get them as big as you want....good luck!

It also depends on your lighting and headroom available.

ok sweet.
my bad i am actually been veg-ing for 30 days not 40 and it is just over 10 inches and i have just under 4 feet of space. i was thinking about waiting for it to get to a foot tall butt im getting anxious
its some afghan kush, and ive herd that in the flowering stage the plant grows 2x to 3x its size.. correct?
the last plant i had was an auto-flowering so its a little different this time.

Sounds about right with the stretch part...
Personally, if that is your only plant, and you have enough lighting, you could do some LST and veg it a little more, maybe a couple weeks. The plant will stay lower and have many tops. First link in my sig is an example.
Depends on you though, if you can't get weed otherwise, then do what ya gotta do

Time to flower?
Just one plant, vegged for about 4-5 weeks and flowered for 8+. It was about 2ft. tall, maybe closer to 3 ft. from the top of the soil, give or take, but I started to flower it when the tallest top was about 8 in. above the soil.
Yield was about 60 grams dry weight.

Time to flower?
I normally put mine into flower 60 - 62 days from the day I plant the seeds. I do run CFL lighting... 18/6 for veg, and 12/12 for flower. I usually run about 4 1/2 months from seed to harvest. I have been getting a yield of close to 3/4 pound per plant.
I never got clones to work, so your on your own there.
