Nervous Infrequent User!

I'm not a daily smoker, but being in college you tend to do things you normally wouldnt. Anyway, I have a preemployment drug test this next tuesday and I am scared as all hell about it. I have a few questions that hopefully some of you can put my mind at ease or educate me a little bit more. It is a urine test by the way.

1) The last time I smoked was last night (3/11) and I only had about 3 or 4 hits out of a joint. I had smoked before that probably 3 weeks or so before that, and the time I smoked before that was probably another few weeks. As you can see I am no a frequent user, but I have smoked a few times. Given that I am about 210lbs and around 6', I am relatively athletic and not a couch potato by any means how long will it take for me to pass this drug test? Can somebody give me a little bit more accurate of a time frame than the general (3-30 days) (2-10 days) because in my case, 2 days im fine, and in 10 days im screwed.

2) If I do not pass this drug test, what will happen? Will I be on record for not passing it thus keeping me from getting further jobs? Or will I just be denied the current offer?

You would probably have a fair chance with dillution. Read the dillution sticky and follow that the morning of the UA. Drink gatorade instead of water. It would still be a good idea to pickup a test strip and test yourself to see if you pass.
There is really no way to guage when someone will be clean, there are just too many factors that make the time vary.
If you fail the test its only kept on record at thatiness you applied at. Businesses are not allowed to share medical information about employees. Its against the law.

I took an at home test today and i had an extremely, and i mean extremely faint line that was shown. You really had to make a strenuous look to see that there was something there. Should I buy another one on monday to test before I go on tuesday?

If you're getting a faint line you should be ok with following the dillution sticky the morning of the UA.
