Honestly though, I think you might be shit out of luck on finding a PCP through your Insurance Provider as most of those doctors seem to be content to continue to be bought off by large pharmaceutical companies. My Kaiser PCP rocked but she basically told me that if she were to prescribe me to something that i could make on my own as compared to something that was manufactured by her bosses boss that her job could be in jeopardy...
I am impressed that your Kaiser Dr told you the truth.We too have Kaiser and our Dr gave us some line of crap about believing that marijunia would harm my husband's liver and would not even recommed it when he was going thru interferon treatments for HepC. So glad he circumvented his doctor because I do not believe he would have completed the program without it.

Thank you for sharing the doctors information. I still know several people who want their recommedation but do not feel comortable in a dispensary setting waiting for their appointment. I will give them this information.

The best part of Kaiser is KP.org. It is easy for any patient to access their medical records and print them out. Those are the records both my husband and myself used for our recommendation. Both of us have greatly benefited from being and MMJ patient and even our employers can see the difference although they do not know why and are chaulking it up to convention medicine I am sure.
