Just so you know, those are mostly clustered 1w diodes in the higher-watt packages. It is RARE to find 3w or 5w single-chip emitters.

Also, three individual 1w diodes typically output more light than most single 3w diodes. Highest watt doesn't necessarily mean the most efficiency. The highest efficiencies are currently coming from .5-1w diodes, both in real-world and laboratory tests. Once you start linking the diodes together, you start introducing resistance, and thus power efficiency begins to drop.

In short, more powerful != better.
