I'd agree that the temps and huge amount of natural sunlight is what killed those big fan leaves. When house plants or seedlings are to go outside they have to get "hardened off" or acclimated to the new surroundings. You'd put them out a few hours in the shade and gradually work up to partial shade for half days, etc.

You're new growth looks good so I'd say you're good. I'd trim those fan leaves and give them a break from too much more "help". :weedpoke:
