Power of the pen
â?¦ Or rather the keypad.
Good day people of the NM MMJ universe. I write to in hopes that I can rouse your support, and inspire you to break out your collective pens and start-a-writing. I am a card-carrying patient with epilepsy who has been put in the position where I have to practice patience in order to get my medicine. 2- 2 ½ months to be exact, a totally unacceptable position to be in IMHO.
I am trying to organize a letter writing campaign urging Dr. Vigil to approve more producers so we, the patients, can benefit from this program.
I plead to any of you out there who are in the program, know someone in the program, or support the programâ?¦ to get with the program! We need your help.
Of course my last resort, ace in the hole ploy is to have a grand mal seizure on the roundhouse steps, with cameras rolling (ever see drug store cowboy?), to illustrate how serious this is. Sadly it wonâ??t be an act though.
Just by sending a short email to Dominick Zurlo, the program director (and a very nice guy I might add), urging the program to accelerate the process, will go a long way in arming him with the necessary ammunition to advocate on our behalf when submitting applications to Dr. Vigil for approval. We need more producers! If 20-40% of the people on this forum take the time to write we could make some serious headway. Please take 10 minutes and give it a shot. Put a human face to the problem. Those of us in the program thank you for your help.

WELL PUT PERSONIFIED!!!!!!
I have already written a letter to my representatives but will zap one off to Dr. Vigil's office as well.
The DOH "snail mail" address is:
1190 S. St. Francis Dr.
Santa Fe, NM 87502
The MCP address is:
Medical Cannabis Program Staff
1190 St. Francis Dr. Suite S1310
Santa Fe, NM 87502
I believe they are one in the same place, with the only difference in the "snail mail" addresses is the Suite S1310.
I obtained both from the NMDOH website and MCP website....
This benefits us ALL so please take the time to do so!

There are producers who have product they are just very expensive. before the state can approve more producers they need more patients. Now is the time to get in your conditions the deadline is tuesday the 9th. You can write a proposal to DOH telling them your condition and why it should get mmj. I think the way the program is now its more geared towards growing your own you can have 4 mature plants under a personal producer license. :rastasmoke::rastasmoke:

So if I do choose to sign my release and get my card I will be helping others eh? Well that is something else to consider then. I really am trying to use it as a last resort, don't know know why,I LOVE DANK. Simple math though I guess, forgive my idiocy. Everybody around me was so opposed to it when it wasn't a REAL option but now that it is they too react like many on here will...what the the hell is wrong w/ you??? Take it!! It's nice to have the option though. I don't believe in this BS secrecy on who is more open to getting you the card,I've posted on here where to go;who is more open to pot.I'm just an idiot though. Huh an idiot w/ the option in MY hands.

We are all here for the same reason,Cannabis. We ALL want to feel so sort of normalcy and are sick and freakin tired of fighting what we have. In the horse world everybody ends up fighting because everybody knows more than the next guy/gal. Sandia has given me a good idea in waiting 10 minutes before I hit reply and pepurr is a refreshing voice on the forum. I don't know why Bob is gone,I liked him. I have been a total asshole on here at times and it was uncalled for and not needed. I'm not going to quote the PCP riot maker but we should get along. I mention the horse world because this reminds me of it SO much. Go on you tube and look up PLANET CARAVAN covered by PANTERA and take that vibe as my message to you all. I don't want to fight people on here anymore. Be Well EVERYBODY
Oh yeah and I sure as hell am going to sign my release tomorrow and get my card. Strength in #'s

I just got an email from SFI stating that if dont live in Santa Fe County....I shouldnt even register with them because they are limited to 95 plants and can not serve other counties. My question here is......what the fuck? So now im limited to 4 producers that are still on the other side of the state, none of which have meds, and all of which are to damn expensive. We need a solution. Im ready and willing to do whatever it takes to get a dispensary in South East NM, so if anyone is looking for board members or whatever, count me in. Ill have my letter going to the state this week in support of more legal producers and the next time the roundhouse has a meeting on this subject I WILL be there. Something has to be done.
