hey jst built this gro box, im not new to growin abit of ganj but new to dooing it in dooors, my set up im useuing a 300 watt cfl duel spec, for both veg and flowering, i got two feminised seeds on the go, great white shark and lemon skunk from green house seeds, erm is there any thing im misssing in my grow box? cheeers

Do you have any form of Intake or exhaust to deal with fresh air intake and heat/humidity outflow?
maybe it's your camera angle bud,but your light looks like it pretty damn high to be starting plants under.

HI MATE THE ONLY INTAKE AND OUT TAKE ARE JST VENTS the 300 watt dnt produce alot of heat but i jst got a fan to flow the air around and four vents in the wall to let fresh air in and crap air out, i got sum new piks, the big one is great white shark and the small one is lemon. u never would of fault it but the little one is the same age as the big one, wot do u fink myt b rong wif it?? there just under a month old, on 18/6 no nutes yet jst plant food from the compost, is this good for a months grow? should i be bigger? has anyone ever used a 300 watt cfl before? wots ur opioin on the two ? thanks

Nice plants greenthumb, i dont think i have ever seen such big and wide fan leaves that early into a grow!

I also use a 300 watt cfl and have it about 2 inches above my plants. You need to lst your plants to keep them short because cfls light penetration isnt very good and this will cause the buds at the bottom on the plant to be very small.

thanks mate, how long u bin useing the 300 watt cfl?? wots the end results like? good quality bud? av u got any piks of the bud u grew with it? so should i lower the light so its closer? how long would u say i got till i can switch to 12/12? i mean its 4 weeks so far.. wot did u mean by "You need to lst your plants " cheeers for replying mate x

I have used it for my previous grow which is on here, if you click on my profile and view threads you can see my old one and current one, there are pics on there. I changed to a red 250watt cfl to flower but the 300 watt is very good for vegetation. You can lower the lights, if you can put your hand on top of your plant and your hand doesnt burn your plants wont, so use that as a rule of light height when using cfls. Lst is low stress training, you can also find a thread i posted on that on my profile.

I'd get some nutrients made for specifically for cannabis. If you can't, then try to match the N-P-K ratios with what you decide to buy. For example, my Canna soil nutrients are Canna Terra Vega 3-1-4 (for veg) , Canna Terra Flores 2-2-4 (for bloom).

I use a "PK boost" (Actually called 'Plagron Green Sensation Top Activator'... got it for free ) in addition to the Canna Terra Flores bloom nutes. My PK boost is 0-9-10 if I remember correctly. Canna makes a similar one but I think it's 0-13-14. I get by with these three.
