This makes MG sound like bad stuff. (I wont use it but read on) MG and other mfg of potting mixes are made for the whole world of horticulturalists. They load up the nutes. They many times do not get it mixed well and it burns like in the above pictures.

Ocean Forest seems to have picked a market for cannabis. The mix I get is perfect for my environment and I essentially do not give nutes. The OF has plenty of nutes, and just repotting is like fertilizing. I guess I do add some carbs into the diet in the last 2 weeks, but other than that I use no nutes unless I am willing to risk burn.

I CONSTANTLY see threads about a poor little 3 week old seedling/clone that is going to get hammered with nutes and then they ask what is wrong. The above picture is nute burn, with lockout of P and Ca, maybe Mg too.

I would like to know though, does Fox Farms make the mix for a general climate? For example I am in the Pacific NW and a very moist climate, Rusty is in Arizona and a very dry climate.....does his OF have less vermiculite that the mix I get? In other words do they climatize the mix for the general shipping area. I doubt seriously my OF is shipped from the same place Rusty's is. Hmmmm maybe new thread?
WashougalWonder Reviewed by WashougalWonder on . Nute burn? Hey guys, a lil more than 2 weeks in this showed up. Pretty sure thats the first leaf to show these symptoms but other more mature leaves are starting to show the spots as well...Haven't added anything except tap water or water from brita filter. I'm using MG 6 month feed...which I'm beginning to read about and seems this might be the problem..? Thanks for any feedback. Rating: 5
