does peripheral neuropathy fall into the same category as chronic pain in trying to get a recommendation. i.e. requiring a referral from a specialist. or is a recommendation from a primary physician sufficient.

From the way it looks on the Department of Health website, you would only need one referral. I think the best way to find out would be to email em. They answer emails alot quicker than they answer voicemails.

I can attest to the promptness of the NMDOH via email. You may have a problem getting a hold of someone today as most of the state employees are on a "furlough" day.......I should probably keep my trap shut on the "Gov Appointees" making almost 6 figures for doing what exactly????.....just a vent that I will not bring up again.

But do send an email Skydivr...they are professional and prompt!!!

You outta hear something after the weekend TS. It took about that long to hear back on mine. Last email I got, they said they were waiting on a shipment of blank cards to come in before they could get the new approvals mailed off.

    There are two email addresses...

medical spot cannabis at state spot nm spot us

    Jeffrey M. Marshall
    Medical Cannabis Program Staff
1190 St. Francis Dr. Suite S1310
    Santa Fe, NM 87502
    (505) 827-2321

JeffreyM.Marshall at state spot nm spot us

Jeff Marshall has always got back to me within a day or two. They are busy as hell over there. If'n its been three weeks and you have not heard anything it is good! If there were problems you would have heard from them by now.

The State...The people that work there try very hard and believe in the cause. The politicians and their buddies they hire to run the place are completely incompetent. So it is disorganized to say the least. Most of those agencies are not given the resources that they need to do thier jobs and things grind to a stop often because the big bosses are arguing over simple shit. It is a mess.

I bet if you emailed Jeff, or called his number he would get back to you.

In the begging I recieved emails back within a day. Now there are running a week if not more.

I received one answer when resending that said that they have up to two weeks to respond.

My very first email to Jeffery Marshall took three weeks. I received several from the other email address before he responded.

Painful Peripheral Neuropathy is one of the qualifying conditions under State Law, you only need one Dr's signiture! A lot of Chronic Pain patients fall under this condtion, they just don't know it!

I get a lot of neuropathy when I receive my chemo treatments, while I have found medbuds to be very effective for appetite and nausea it's never done anything for my neuropathy.
Get seeds, learn to garden and take control of your medication.
