how reliable is a home test result

    Hi folks,
I just registered but I've been observing on this site and using it for drug testing info for a while now. ANYWAYS! So this past monday march 1, I was contacted by a job that I really want and told I was being offered the job but before the offer was formal I would have to pass a drug screen through labcorp. So here's the actual question, I stopped smoking three weeks to the day before I was offered this job. I'm 5 ft and about 88 lbs, very small, but I have kidney transplant and it's getting kinda old so it's not working as it once did so my creatine is 1.5 on a regular basis. (for anybody who knows what that means) I took a home drug test from walgreens on tuesday and it was maybe the second or third void of the day, it was a very bold negative line. Can I count on labcorp to use the same cut off point and get the same result? Ths test said it was fda approved and 99.9 percent effective. I didn't use any type of dilution or any thing.
Please let me know. I would appreciate any info!

thanks a lot my fellow smokers!

Check out the thread on Dilution under the Drug testing section of the forum home. It discuss creatine levels and has other information that should be helpful.

thanks I've read that. I just was wondering if i tested negative with the home test, without dilution, would I presumeably test negative with the labcorp test? like the cut off levels and things being simular?

Buy another test kit and use the first void of the day. If you get a line, bold or faint then its a pass. Test kits are very reliable and if you can pass one then you'll pass the lab test.

You are pretty small and probably don't have much fat so passing the home test one more time probably means you are safe. Hope it works out.

Ok so I took my test around noon yesterday. Haven't heard anything. I'm thinking no news good news since I already have a start date time all that. But I was still bugged out yesterday so I did some research on labcorp and they have the same cut off as the test which I got from walgreens. That cut off is 50 ng/ml immunoassay and 15 ng/ml GC/MS. So if anybody was curious about that there ya go.
If I hear any news I'll post.
