Flushing Phase Question
I am 2 days from starting my 10 day flush before harvest. Do I still need to PH down my water? Or is it better to just feed my girls straight from the tap?
If you are flushing with RO/DI water do you still add calmag during this phase?PhatJay Reviewed by PhatJay on . Flushing Phase Question I am 2 days from starting my 10 day flush before harvest. Flushing Phase Question
I'm in the same boat (on day 4). I was going to change out the water again tonight. I'm using distilled water and PH down to 5.8 - 6.1. Leaves are starting to lighten quite a bit so I was wondering about adding that calmag but I was under the impression that you don't add anything if your using distiled water. If you using tap water you should add Final Flush to get rid of PPMs from the tap.

Flushing Phase Question
I'd still ph it properly, but without the CalMag.
Plants usually don't look so pretty when it's harvest time (it only looks like that in High Times Magazine), it just means that they are using up the remaining nutrients in the leaves, which is a good thing

Flushing Phase Question
PH adjusted tap water it is then. I would +rep you but the "system" won't let me give you any more rep yet.
Thanks again for the help.

Flushing Phase Question
Day 6 of flush with ONLY PH'ed distiled water. They are sticky as hell and smell like an orchard! I pulled 3 last night, they were starting to look hurting, maybe I should have waited? Got 3 left still flushing in the hydro system. Flushing seems to be making a big difference in smell for sure. Thanks for the input!

Flushing Phase Question
...I find the minimal investment in a Brita Jug to be worth the while!
For a measly eleven bux, where I live, you can get the smallest one, which comes with a filter that will cost you 6-9 bux to replace anyways. I mate the 'inside-of-the-jug-thing' that holds the filter with my Five Gallon Pail, and make a bunch of nice clean water that way. For cheap.
PH it, and your plants can't be happier (unless you spend a LOT more money!)

Flushing Phase Question
I am currently 4 weeks form harvest when should I start my flush? Is it the last 14 days?
Is it a straight flush or should I wean the nutes down since its every other day I water and every other water I add nutes?

Flushing Phase Question
Ph ro/di water is way better than ph'd tap water! Using ph tap water is the same as using ro water with calmag! You want to flush with the minimum ppm water as much as possible.
Also Aceobase a good time to flush for soil is 14 days before harvest 7-10 days for hydro. And it's flush then everytime she dries up water her. No more nutes needed after.
