Oxygen has a tendency to corrode metals, minerals and oxygen toxicity can be pathologic on tissues. (pathologic: a departure or deviation from a normal condition)

Were I performing this little experiment, I'd limit it to a single plant till final results are in. It would truly suck to jump the gun and end-up with a room filled with canna-straw that isn't smokable.

General rule of thumb...if it's not made for plants, it might not be a good idea to use it on our meds. But good luck with the experiment.

Thanks Rusty thats the kind of answer I was seeking...Definately agree I should have left the other alone so I could have really tested results.

Is there anything I can do to test for oxidization or deterioration in soil quality like testing the run off water?

also....since u sound pretty experienced

I'm hoping to be able to harvest in the next three weeks....seems like these plants have been flowering forever (1st pistils seen on Jan 24)....but I cut a bud off maybe two weeks ago and wanted to do a test dry/cure before it got to close to harvest....Well it was a pretty small bud so it dried in like three days, and then I had it in a jar for like a week until I finally smoked it....the problem is it tasted like shiiiiit.....I'm sad because I'm worried my lack of experience in harvesting will destroy my beautiful Juicy dank ass smelling flowers :-(....any tips on better harvesting???

Sorry for the novel, and thanks again for your Knowledge friend
