I agree. The trick is to move the plants to flower when they reach the desired height and maturity. Some strains can double or even triple in height during the first 2-3 weeks of flowering, so keep that in mind according to your grow-space and light intensity/placement. A lot of growers will also tell you to make sure the plants are showing preflowers before you move them into 12/12 as well - flowering before that time will increase your chances of hermied or male flowers.
