pelosi's definition of special interests and mine seems to differ greatly. she, like most politicians, leaves out those organizations that further her agenda and add to the power she accumulates. she doesn't see big labor as a special interest problem, yet their extravagant demands have aided in the destruction of american business. she sees the proponents of the welfare state as a positive force, when entitlement programs are bankrupting the country and creating a permanent underclass subservient to the state. her war against special interests is a war against individual accomplishment and self-determination, mine is against the enslavement of the individual by a totalitarian state and the dictatorship of the proletariat.
