Right on, Naturesmeds. It's a lot easier to place blame on someone else rather than take credit for what we've allowed to happen to our personal rights and liberties.

As if making an honest buck should somehow be a crime! If ANYONE is forcing anybody to buy cannabis from a dispensary, it's the prohibitionists and the stinking laws they manage to weasel through the system.

We need to stop feeding on ourselves and start eatin and sh!tin prohibs.

These dispensaries, openly making all the money, is what prompted Arnold & other politicians to suggest that the state start growing pot.
Its also leading to legalization of non-medical use, & taxation.
Why blame them?
Why not look inside yourself, & ask how YOU allowed your constitutional rights to be taken?

My experience has been quite different. I buy my stuff from a dispensary in Berkeley and I've found their prices to be fair. Prior to getting my stuff from the club I used to buy locally at about $50/8th for stuff that really was not that good... Though I never bought large quantities at those prices I regularly heard of people here paying 400-500 per ounce within the last 10 years and I doubt that stuff was really that amazing. My other option was to drive ~100 miles down to Santa Cruz and buy stuff for around $300/oz there which is what I usually did.

the club on the other-hand has bud for all sorts of prices. They have 8ths for $50-60 but without fail every 8th in that bracket is amazing bud. They also have plenty of stuff in the $30-$40 range that is damn good. They even carry a fairly good selection of stuff in the $15-$25 range. The stuff in that range isn't amazing but I've bought local stuff for $50 before that was about the same quality.

So in my experience they have expensive bud but you know exactly what you are getting and that it will be insane. Their average bud is about equal to street prices but IMO better quality. Then they have cheap bud which is cheaper than anything you could find on the street and is still "good enough". Seems to me like they put a good amount of effort into their prices rather than simply ripping people off as you imply.

WOW...Dude you blew this shit way out of proportion. No club has been "raided." Police Chief Hansen is simply checking the books to make sure that clubs are in compliance with the law. Educate yourself. He can't do shit...and he knows it!:thumbsup:
