Da Buddha Questions
Just received my Buddha in the mail today and I am very excited. After a first attempt all was going well with the temp about half way pointed up at Da Buddha logo, but then I blew at the tip of the whip to clear some hair off and all the herbs inside the wand flew back into the heating element, the thing that looks like a lightbulb. I also turned the temp up moments before and combustion started occuring as soon as the herbs flew back there, and now the inside of my heating element is slightly tinted brown like a bong would be after a rip. Is there any way to clean this elements inside? Or does this not really matter so much?, and there is one small piece of herb that went down all the way in the heating element, so, I'm just trying to make sure I do everything correctly.
Nny input would be great.Diplomat Reviewed by Diplomat on . Da Buddha Questions Just received my Buddha in the mail today and I am very excited. Also, I can't get the darn whip to stay in the wand, this is annoying . Any tips on this? Pretty ripped right now so I must be doing something right.

I cant really imagine it actually turning brown, you can wiggle the elbow shaped glass piece off and see if you can scrape the element, but i wouldn't go too crazy with that. Just make sure to always hold your thumb over the hole when your not hitting and tell people your using it with to do the same. I cant tell you how frustrating it is when you/someone else blows into the thing and ruins the herb.
As far as the whip not staying in, it was always more of a hassle getting the whip in and out of the wand. I guess try using the other end if you haven't already, or go and buy a different size piece of tubing.:hippy:

when you put your wand in, give it a little turn when its all the way in, this will lock it in place. as far as your heatercover being burnt, just pull it off and wash it off in some iso quick. the heating element should be find if theres any marks on it, just crack it up to the max temp for a few mins and it will clean itself off.

thanks all for the replies, pretty much got everything figured out now! To get the tube to stay in the wand I just squeezed it and chimmied it as far as I could, seems to be staying now, and thanks for letting me know the glass part is removable, i'll give it a clean soon. Just curious, for those who have the buddha, do you guys vape until dark brown, light brown, almost black? And what temperature is your favorite? mine seems to be pointing slightly past the buddha image on the vape! Also how often do you guys stir your mixture with the long medal poker? Seems I have to do that a fair amount for it to vape evenly. And lastly while i'm thinking of it, is my herb safe to leave at the temp in which I vape at while i'm not vaping? So say I got downstairs quickly to make a sandwhich, can I leave my vape at my "zone" temperature, or should I turn it down slightly so it doesnt vape any THC away?

I vape until it's dark brown even though I suppose it's likely that there are no more compounds to volatize by then.
On my Da Buddha unit, I keep the knob at about 1:30-2:00 o'clock.
I don't usually use the long poker (which is way sharper than it needs to be, by the way), but I do tap the wand to stir the stuff up, pretty much every vape.
Personally, I wouldn't leave herb in the vaporizer while I did something else. I think it would heat up enough that the compounds would boil off, leaving you with straw, basically.
If you fill the wand with barely enough herb to cover the screen, you will have enough to vape but not enough that you would want to leave it there. I find that the smallest amount at once is preferrable.
