Well, let me elaborate.

Last month I was found to have a 99% blockage of the artery that feeds the left ventricle of my heart. It is known as the "widowmaker" lesion for the high mortality associated with this lesion.

During my workup for that I continued to smoke cannabis. Now mind you I could not walk to the mail box without getting chest pain. Only one time did I get chest pain, and that was after a coughing spell.

I find this truly amazing that my heart could take the extra demand without causing side effect issues. My cardiologist was informed of this. He was all for continuing the cannabis during my hospitalization, albeit oral ingestion over smoking.

NOW, that is my body, not anyone elses, but it does show that the cannabis seems to not effect blood flow to the myocardium in a negative manner. Studies will have to be done to prove this of course.
