Depending on where you live, it really isn't as daunting an experience if you tell the doc you use cannabis as medicine (I don't know why you use, but use your own judgement.)

i have heart problems and diabetes so had many concerns about my pot usage. I've been seeing my specialist for 12 years and he was very receptive, even though the group of doctors he's with won't write my RX.

But he helps me from a medical point with any questions I have. If you're worried about any serious health issue, can you really afford to take that a with your life? I do think that marijuana is harmless all things compared, but there are plenty of articles out there about risk for a heart attack increasing 4x in the first several minutes of toking. I still choose smoking as it's more effective for my pain, but at least my doc and I have talked about it and he is involved if a problem arises.

I hope you find peace to use your medicine as you need and talk to your doctor about your usage if you are having serious concerns. Good luck. (p.s. if you have never had any other question with thinking issues are "in your head"; or history of emotional issues, it's a good thing to examine to figure out if it is or not. Trying different strains is good for anything. Trying a hybrid instead of indica or sativa is also a good idea.)
