foxfarm BB, GB, TB schedule
I am using the foxfarm trio for soil and was wondering if anyone else has used it before? if so.. when did you start applying and at what strength? I was thinking 1/4 strength until week 2.... then go to half of what the schedule says... another question--- how many times do you feed a week?? I was thinking if I feed twice a week i might only need to water one time.. is that enough nutes? or do you only feed once a week?? also i have a ph tester on the way... i was wondering what the ph should be going in of the solution once adding the nutes.. and what the runoff should be as well.. thanks

I think you're the first person to use these nutes, so doing a search probably wouldny yield any results. I'm positive that there aren't already 100's of posts on this exact topic.

these nutes are pretty good. they have been around for a while!! you can easily find information about this on other sites. check on youtube for a video called "white trash nutrient challenge". and i'd say yes, 1/4 then 1/2 would be perfect. water once a week with food, and in between "feeding" you use just plain ph'ed water. also, what medium are you using? if your using a good strong soil, you dont need to use any nutes for a month. (eg fox farm ocean forest soil.)

I use the FF Feeding Schedule...sort of. My feeding days are Mondays and Thursdays, and I give half-strength nutes on each of those days. Plain, properly ph'd water in-between if necessary.
Whether feeding once a week or two, never give more nutrients than the schedule says for that week.
If the schedule says 1 tsp per gallon per week, I give 1/2 tsp per gallon, twice a week.
During flower, I cut way back on the Big Bloom, and substitute with 1/2 to 1 tsp molasses per gallon of water...once a week.

Ive used FF trio for soil, and now for hydro. Only difference is the GB or maybe its the BB they make one specifically for hydro. Anyways, I think they work great! I dont have any comparison with other nute packs however, so to say they are better or worse then others, I cannot say. But yeah before I started, I heard a lot of people rave about FF, so naturally I went with it. Ive been hearing good things about GH nutes...

You can also use Fox Farms Ocean Forest potting mix. It's ALMOST a stand-alone medium, and it's properly buffered. Under normal growing conditions, no additional nutrients necessary till the second half of the flowering cycle. Kinda sucks, too. About two weeks before switching to FFOF, (4 months ago or so) I ordered another Fox Farms trio. It sit's unopened in a closet.
With the Fox Farms Trio, the Grow Big and the Tiger Bloom have the necessary micronutrients, the Big Bloom is a catalyst tea that compliments both. (according to Fox Farms)

Lately I've been denying any Big Bloom in flower since I'm in FFOF which has the same organics in it. But when I was in other soil, I would stop the BB at the 4 week mark of an 8 week strain, and nothing but Tiger Bloom and mollasses till final dosing of Tiger Bloom at 6 or 7 weeks. Mollasses once a week and water as necessary from then till done.
