    3rd time.. would love input!

hey i def wanna hear a lot of advice and constructive criticism on how to make my ladies better so def any input is appreciated
    4X4X7 tent... carbon filter hooked to outtake fan.... port in the bottom of the tent for the negative intake...regular fan inside not blowing directly on plants 400W HPS using happy frog soil, and then transplanting into fox farm ocean forest soil... also using the foxfarm trio BB,GB,TB. temps with light on right around 74-78F. with the light off it is about 59-62F. I def need some help, this is my third time but first trying nutes and the tent... I have a ph meter on the way so i will update that info when i can... but the problem is that some of the plants, about 4 nodes down, the fan leaves are starting to get brown and crispy for some reason {if you know let me know :thumbsup: and then some of the leaves are just brown and dont have the rigid leaf pattern... Right now I only have one that I have started with the Foxfarm week 1 feeding schedule/chart... I have my mix at 50% strength {I intend to keep all of their recommended strength be reduced to 50% throughout, just because im not sure if you are supposed to feed them full strength at any point or not, so input here would def be awesome}
Most of the other plants are about to be in week 1 Veg. soon, but again if someone disagrees let me know I AM GOING TO ADD PICS SO CHECK THEM OUT AND DEF COMMENT help me out  I am a little bit confused though because i dont know why they arent growing like they should most are getting close to a month old if not older (from first planting in soil from germinated seed) shouldnt they be a little bigger?
I just feel that there is not much feeding going on, should I just start feeding and no watering and then flush once a month?

if you are a day ahead don't worry

use the calendar and schedule as a guide...sometimes you may go past the scheduled day, sometimes you do it before....let the plants tell you!

when in veg i do not do alot of feeding...but i do make sure that they have all of the beneficials to build a healthy root zone...i am more concerned with ttreating the root zone first....then you feed!

i use mychorizea, voodoo juice, hygrozyme, carbo load every 2 weeks during veg and the first 2 weeks of bloom....i feed on the in between weeks:jointsmile:

ok you kkinda got me confused there too lol so do you not water them?? just feed them with your nutrient mix when they need fed? I was thinking of adding some calmag bc i am already using foxfarm soil and it looks like maybe they have too much nute.

when i feed them do I have to feed them until I get runoff??? they are retaining a lot of water when i feed and let it run through it.....also i am still not sure about the schedule..

by the way my temperatures are not dropping below 64 anymore

ph of my water is around 6.7

ph of my nute solution mixed with water is 6.5

should I add some calmag? and when should i give it to them? during watering or mix it in also when feeding?

The good thing about troubleshooting plants is that there is a finite list of things that could be causing your problems.

Lights - I don't see any burnt tips, and your plant canopy isnt thick enough to block light yet.

Temperature - 16 degree swings is a bit much. I assume you're on an 18/6 schedule since you mentioned temps with the light off. There isn't any difference in growth between an 18/6 schedule and a 24/0 schedule (it's been argued to death!), so I would keep your light on 24/0 to keep the temps in the 74-78 range. The plants will be much happier there. If you're flowering already, well it seems a bit early to me, and I'd wait until the plants are healthier.

Watering - it's possible you're overwatering still. You didn't list your watering schedule, so it's hard to critique it. My watering started out at every other day when the seeds first popped. Now it's every 3rd day. Once I move into a pot your size, it might even be a bit longer as more soil holds more moisture. Make sure the top inch of the soil is DRY before you water. If you need to, weigh the plants before watering, and about 30 minutes after watering. They should add a lot of weight!

Nutrients - Fox Farm Ocean Forest is good soil. I've seen people go with zero nutes for the first month in FFOF, and their plants looked wonderful. I'm not totally clear whether you're in OF or HF right now.

pH - could definitely be a problem. I hope you got some pH up and pH down as well as storage solution to go with your meter. Cant diagnose this one until you get your meter.

You've got a few good sized plants there. If I were you I would make a test plan and see which plants respond the best.

Plant 1. Wait another day and a half to water each time.

Plant 2. Keep the current watering schedule, but raise the nutrients.

Plant 3. Keep the current watering schedule, add 25% nutes.

Plant 4. Keep your current schedule of watering and nutes.

If I had to make a guess at this point, I would say that you're watering too much, too few nutes, or the pH of your water is locking out the nutes. One of those three.
