    3rd time.. would love input!

I wanted to add that I am feeding going by the foxfarm chart... so for week one it says 2tbl big bloom-->1 gal water so i am doing 1 tbl BB per half gallon water when i have it at this strength 2 questions..
    1. what should my nute solution PH be? around 6.3-6.7?
    2. If I am already using 50% of what the chart recommends should I just feed one time a week? and water once a week? seems like thats all they will need as of now.

Also... I believe I will be feeding on sundays and thurs.. if they do not need watered inbetween feedings should I push back my feeding schedule to just once a week and one watering? so they arent getting hit with nutes 2 times in a row?

5.5 to 6.5 is the recommended pH for feeding. If you can, try to stay around 6.2 - 6.3.

My plants are still in the red plastic cups. I watered on Sunday as well and I'm not watering again until tomorrow (Wednesday). Since you're in larger containers, your soil will stay moist longer. You should be ok to go one more day if you feel any moisture in the soil.

If you're still vegging you can go to 24/0. That should be fine.

Should you do 36 hours of darkness to start flowering? That's up to you. Lots of people smarter than me have different opinions on the subject. You can just start doing a 12on/12off schedule. I'd probably not do more than 24 off. Just make sure that the room is completely dark when the lights are off. You shouldn't be able to see at all.

Btw, when you say you're feeding them, you're mixing the nutes with the appropriate amount of water right? Not just dumping the nutes right on the plant?

Since you have good FFOF soil, I would follow the standard FF water/feed/water/feed schedule that they have posted on their website, but slowly increase the % of nutrients in the water.

Half strength for the first couple of feedings. Your soil looks underwatered, as do the droopy pants. Temps are fine. Borderline low at night, but fine. When you can...check the ph.

You are confusing half-strength with half doses. Half strength of the Big Bloom would be one TBS:gallon.
    1. Using Fox Farms, I get the water to 6.9ish, and add my nutes. This brings down the ph to around 6.3. For all soils and soilless mixes, (peat based) ph should stay between 6.3 and 6.8, despite the bad advise you've already been given.
There is no reason you'll ever come across to have both phUp and phDown, unless you get your water from more than one source.

I feed on Mondays and Thursdays. One half doses per feeding. (same weekly totals as their schedule, though) and I water usually once inbetween at the moment. During the summer I'll have to add water daily, but keep the same feeding schedule.

For my 1 gallon pots, I generally give a cup-n-a-half of nutrient solution, or so. On non-feeding days I slowly add properly ph'd water till slight run-off.

Likely the tent's ventilation will remove the ambient humidity, so more waterings may be called-for. Do not allow soil to remain saturated, but allow them to dry-out a tad. As the plants develop (get bigger) you'll have to water more. Watch your humidity levels when growing in a confined space.

Regardless of what other's have told you in this thread...follow the FF feeding schedule religiously till you get a better understanding of growing cannabis.

raizla: Where did you learn to grow? Did they let you troubleshoot there, too? :wtf:

today is feeding day so i will make sure that I take care of the underwatering issue but not overwater.... my humidity is 39%....

question... received calmag today.. how should I use it?? use it when watering?? or use it when feeding?

Be careful on watering. Im very doubtful your problem is linked to underwatering but yet the exact opposite. Underwater you can USUALLY tell because half the plant will look perfect and the other half will be drooping and almost look wilting. Overwatering USUALLY looks as yours do and will just have an over all droop to the plant. With you being new to growing as we all have done you just wanna take care of your babies and prolly are watering them to often or too much at a time. EVERYTIME i have underwatered a plant and then gave it a good watering within hours the leaves have perked almost straight, telling me obviously thats what she wanted. If your overwatering you wont see a change other then maybe more droop. Cannabis plants grow in warm conditions where rain isnt every other day or even every 3rd day. They can go a good week without water. If your soil is wet and your leaves still look like that after 5 hours id say..... your overwatering. Let your soil dry out and cut back the water. IMHO

when i feed them do I have to feed them until I get runoff??? they are retaining a lot of water when i feed and let it run through it.....also i am still not sure about the schedule..

by the way my temperatures are not dropping below 64 anymore

ph of my water is around 6.7

ph of my nute solution mixed with water is 6.5

should I add some calmag? and when should i give it to them? during watering or mix it in also when feeding?

if you are a day ahead don't worry

use the calendar and schedule as a guide...sometimes you may go past the scheduled day, sometimes you do it before....let the plants tell you!

when in veg i do not do alot of feeding...but i do make sure that they have all of the beneficials to build a healthy root zone...i am more concerned with ttreating the root zone first....then you feed!

i use mychorizea, voodoo juice, hygrozyme, carbo load every 2 weeks during veg and the first 2 weeks of bloom....i feed on the in between weeks:jointsmile:

ok you kkinda got me confused there too lol so do you not water them?? just feed them with your nutrient mix when they need fed? I was thinking of adding some calmag bc i am already using foxfarm soil and it looks like maybe they have too much nute.
