Is "A little bit flowering" like "A little bit pregnant"?

    That's the question...

You see, this friend of mine :wtf: has some short, fat bushy little WW's into just 1 week of flower. There are some lower branches that don't seem like they will be big produces now that the main FIM'ed branches are starting to s-t-r-e-t-c-h up to the air cooled 400W HPS. They are however just begging to be some nice clones. These lower branches show no signs of sexing although the main branches already in fact are sexing. "They are shooting, literally shooting" as that seed co guy says on the tube!!

Q: Will "this friend of mine" get Hermie's or bad genetics from cloning now? :what:

I'm not sure how to post a poll, but if I did it would be:
YES, it's OK, go ahead a take a couple lower under developed clones.
NO, Flower is flower for the whole plant everywhere and your clones will turn out retarded like the inbred banjo playing child from the movie Deliverance. :silly:

The theory (and experience around here) is you can take clones up to two weeks into flowering, they just take a little longer to root...

Yes, you can still take clones from a flowering plant. It may take longer to root like bigtops said....but I have personally done it with white widows so i say go for it. Good luck man!

Man.... I love you guys. :computerlove1: (Say like Eric Kartman) Thanks friends! So far votes are: 5 yes, 1 no, and 1 maybe. One person voted yes, no and maybe so perhaps we can call that 4 yes votes?

OK, so I got the hedge trimmers out and took four of those lower most side shoots. :weedpoke: Plus one from a mystery plant in veg. :what: They'll have plenty of time to be either a mother or a worker bee to flower/harvest next round....

That all is assuming "this friend of mine" :wtf: likes the White Widow better than vacuum squashed, dry, harsh, street stuff. :baggy:
